Today I am Confessing that:
I am confessing two things:
1 - I am sick to death about the comparison made for every.single.thing. mommies do - whether you breast feed or bottle feed, whether you delivered your baby vaginally or C-Section, whether you spank butts or do time out - Gosh, it is so exhausting just being a mommy, I wish that mommies were less judgy wudgy and accepting of all choices we all make, not the ones they consider the "right" ones - OK that is all :)
2 - I had one of those moments this morning - you know the moments- the I AM GOING TO EXPLODE IF YOU DON'T START LISTENING TO ME - I took a deep breath and kept going, eventually the temper tantrum subsided and my sweet girl was back - upon reflection, I realized that this was my fault. Baby Girl had woken up very early for her and I think I should have fed her breakfast immediately - girlfriend is going through a huge growth spurt and perhaps her "I am going to be a monster" session was caused by low blood sugar levels - I know I become a not nice lady when I am hungry....poor thing, she gets extra snuggles tonight :)
Now for #2 - I am linking up with Lesley at By the Porchlight and Taylor (Best Name Ever!) at Pink Heels Pink Truck for:
The Questions this go round are:
1. Which book could you read over and over? Why?
2. If you could be any character from any book you've read, who would you be?3. Do you ever put a book down because you just can't get into it? Or do you stick it out to the bitter end? Any examples?
4. Show us your book shelves! Do you have one designated spot in your house for all your books? Do you scatter them around?
1 - I would read anything Nora Roberts over and over again, and I have.
2 - I would like to be someone strong and indestructible - like Katniss.
3 - I very rarely put a book down...I feel like I'm cheating on it when I move forward with a new one...strange I know :)
4 - OK this is a picture of my daughter, but look in the background you can see my "book room" - and this is not even all of them - I am a book hoarder - it's bad :)
Alright folks, that's it for this Tuesday, I have to go home and write a paper and I'm going to do my weight work out - which you can find Here! See you tomorrow :)

DeleteWhoa nelly, that same scenario played out in my house this morning! We were up relatively early, so I thought I'd constructively use the extra time to actually MAKE breakfast (vs. yogurt/banana/cheerios/etc.). As I'm trying to make pancakes, Benjamin was at my feet, whining, pulling my pants, and just getting in the way. It was driving me bananas. It wasn't a tantrum, but just crying/whining/clinging to the point of just, OMG LET ME FINISH BREAKFAST! Then I realized how late it had gotten and the poor kid was just starving. Oops. So, I can relate!
