Day 90 - 2 Link Ups and This Flower is Wilted

Good Evening Everyone :) How has everyone's Tuesdays been going?  Mine has been utterly exhausting.  I woke up and used my new Chi - I LOVE IT :)
Here is a Before Pic (Disregard the lack of makeup - I do my makeup in the car in front of my daughter's daycare before dropping her off - every.single.day.)
This is my before - hair was blow dried but not straightened or sleek
There it is nice and sleek :) And here is one with makeup!
Much Better :)
I loved the CHI - it has titanium plates, did not pull any hairs and heat up super fast - LOVE IT!
So, after my lovely grooming experience, I drove down to a major city 1 hour away to copy a whole textbook for my stupid class because of my stupid professor I wrote about yesterday.  When I arrived, the librarian could not find the said book and I waited an hour for them to figure it out.  I finally got the book and photocopied 369 pages.   Well actually half that because it was two pages per page.  Regardless, it took forever.  Then, I drove back to town and went to pick up my next book at a local university library here.  Then I returned a part to NAPA my care didnt need.  Then, I went to work for 3 hours.  Then, I came home and babysat a 3 and 8 month old while their daddy and my hubs went to their first rugby practice.  It went fine, I am glad to know I can still take care of a baby- at 3 years you almost forget what to do - but it all came flooding back to me.  Poor guy just wanted his mama - a soldier on night duty tonight - and for the last hour cried his eyes out.  Other than that, it went great!  But this flower it wilted.
So without further adieu - here are my two link ups for the night:

The first one is my usual ladies for Tuesdays, Ms. Heather from Cookies for Breakfast and Ms. Megan from The Memoirs of Megan for:
I confess that I am super happy our routines are back to normal and A is back in school.  We all thrive on routine and school is one that makes all of us happier.  Does that make me a bad mommy?

The second one is a link up with Mel over at 4 Kottez and Laura over at Serrano Style for:
Seeing as I am a novice runner, I dont think my opinion really matters but I love these girls so why not :) My favorite running shoes are New Balances.  I have these horrible strange German "are those feet or blocks?" feet and I need wide shoes.  New Balances do it for me :)

In running news, the Couch to 5K did NOT happen...stupid horribly busy day and spending 3+ hours driving in my car today did not help.  Tomorrow morning I am doing my weight routine and tomorrow afternoon I am doing the Couch to 5K.  I have the app downloaded, installed and ready to go.  Wish me luck!  Alright dudes, see you tomorrow.

  2. OMG no - I looooove routines! And I'd be lying if I didn't sometimes look forward to having kids in school so I can get a bit of a break. I may or may not have considered getting a nanny/sitter just so I can have time to blog ;-)

Did you get a new blog design? Love it!

Thank you for linking up with us again!! :)

  3. Thanks for linking up on the running shoes! Keep at it with the Couch to 5k...I did it, I was miserable and hated every second...but I actually was able to run for 30 minutes straight by the end of it! I repeated week 5 twice, so for me it took longer. Good luck!!

If you do not have anything nice to say, please do not say anything at all :)
